Not every pound test is available in every spool length or color.
Every time I get master braid, im impressed. It does not go bad. I only have to replace line when I have cut enough in changing lures or rigs to have gotten low on the reels I use. And the stuff does not break easily. I titled this review "Time Travel" because if you set the hook too hard with courtland master braid, you might spin the world backwards and set time in reverse.

Very Good Line Performs Like Advertised
This color and line is my all-time favorite for musky fishing. I have been using it for years. Have caught many very nice muskies on guide trips, with friends and also myself.

We won an Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail with this line on both of our rods. As seen in the photos. We have also won many musky tournaments with Cortland Master Braid. Lots on the line when fishing tournaments. Thanks Cortland for helping us be successful with a great product.

I have used different braids over the years and a few years ago switched to master braid. The line is thin, light, flexible and extremely strong! I have had zero break offs since switching and will be using this line as long as it exists, period!
I have no complaints, casts great and handles incredible during the toughest situations. Only stuff I use from now on!

Being an avid cold water fisherman and guide. I tried Cortland Braid last winter for musky fishing. My experience with the 80lb braid in are temps below 30 degrees. The line out performs several brands I’ve previously used. The line carries less water. Which is reducing freezing up my reels at the line guides and the line don’t swell when it freezes during transit from water surface to the reel. I’ve experienced less reel failures and longer periods between thawing my reels with a buddy heater ! This keeps my clients in the game longer!
I literally have this spooled up on almost all of my casting setups especially for topwater heavy duty stuff and my jig fishing setup by far the smoothest farthest casting braid I’ve ever used
Love the master braid, super strong and limber.
I have used fishing line out of florida that is touted to be an American made product. When it strived it had a “ made in china” sticker on it but it is priced like an american made item. So very disappointing. Cortland braid that is of the same diameter of the florida brand , Would have had a 160# rating!
So far cortland braid has not lost any tackle and we fish of the beach that has rocks that have very abrasive creatures living on them.
Great product, we will be purchasing more items in the future.

I have been using this line for three years in the 50lb. It just doesn't break. I fish bass tournament all over Florida and I throw baits in the thickest cover I can find. This line just doesn't let me down...ever! I will not buy another braided line.
First trip out using the newly put together musky rig including the Cortland braided line and landed this nice spotted musky!
MasterBraid is the most durable braid I’ve ever fished with in my life! I respooled some of my reels last month for the first time in over a year. The old MasterBraid I stripped off was still in great condition, I only changed it because I’m just paranoid when it comes to my fishing line. I probably could’ve got another year out of it!
I’m a tournament Bass angler and having castability, strength and stealth are all important attributes Master Braid has provided me. Top finishes and paychecks don’t lie. The braid holds color longer than anything I’ve used in the past and the strength it showcases yanking 5lb Bass out of slop is confidence inspiring. Give a spool a try, you won’t be disappointed
I use Cortland Master Braid for my rod that I throw bigger sized swimbaits on.
I have yet to experience an issues with the line fraying or even losing color over the course of its lifetime.
Masterbraid is my go to line when hosting New York Fishing Adventure clients or when I'm tournament fishing. Castability is critical and Masterbraid delivers the lure on target cast after cast first time every time. I won't launch the boat without it.
